01 / YOUR RECIPE

Start with what you have.

Positive numbers or fractions, such as 4, 6 or 1½.

English ingredient notation. Paste your own recipe; no URL import.

Your recipe stays in this browser tab. No sign-in.

02 / YOUR REVIEW

Every amount, in view.

A little care before you cook.

Your original and scaled amounts will appear here. Edit anything that needs a human decision, then confirm each line.

These never get multiplied automatically.

A CLEARER WAY TO SCALE

01

Scale the full quantity.

Mixed and Unicode fractions, range endpoints, and quantities after “plus” are handled together. Units are kept as written.

02

Keep the context.

Two 14-ounce cans become three cans when you scale by 1.5. The 14-ounce package size stays the same. Other parenthetical numbers are flagged.

03

Leave with a checked copy.

Unknown notation is left unchanged with a note. Adjust the results yourself and export a record of the original, your edits, and the review notes.

A calculator, with room for judgment.

No unit conversion, nutrition estimates or cooking guarantees. Scaling changes quantities; it does not determine cooking times, safe temperatures, pan capacity, or whether a recipe will work at a new size.

Privacy & measurement

Ingredients, steps and edited results are processed in this tab, without being sent to a server or saved by this app. Closing or reloading the tab clears recipe content. Copy and download are your choice.

We measure anonymous page visits, review starts, explicit result confirmations and exports. A random session identifier is kept in sessionStorage, and only the last visit date is kept in localStorage to recognize a return within 60 days. Neither stores recipe content. Test visits use ?test=1 and are separated from ordinary use.
